First visit
Your first visit, step by step
The first visit takes about 45 minutes. Nothing is done unless you agree.

Step 1: Before you come
Call or write to us. A family member can call for you. We don't ask for medical details by message.

Step 2: When you arrive
Ada welcomes you, helps with the forms and tells you how long the wait is. The waiting room has chairs with arms.

Step 3: The conversation
The doctor listens, in Spanish or English, and you tell in your own words how you feel and what you want to be able to do.

Step 4: The exam
The doctor checks your posture and how your spine moves. X-rays only when they are medically necessary.

Step 5: The plan
We explain in writing what is proposed, the risks and the cost. You decide whether to go on.

Step 6: Afterward
We give you an itemized receipt. You don't have to decide that day: you can go home and think it over with your family.

With names and doses, or the bottles.
Your Medicare or plan card
So that Ada can go over what it covers with you.
Recent x-rays
If you have them. If not, don't worry.
A family member
If you like, to keep you company and ask questions.
