How fees work
We tell you the cost before we start, out loud and in writing. Here are the answers to what people ask us most.
Insurance and Medicare
We bill Medicare for manual adjustment of the spine, the only chiropractic service Medicare covers. With other plans, call us before the first visit and we go over it together: the plan decides what it pays.
Medicare, in plain wordsMedicare: manual adjustment of the spine
Medicare Advantage: call your plan first
Other plans: depends on your plan
If you pay yourself
We tell you the cost of the visit before we start, out loud and in writing. You pay at the end of the visit.
Receipts for reimbursement
Ask for an itemized receipt (a superbill) at every visit; you can send it to your plan, which decides whether to reimburse part of it.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us. We give you a written estimate before the visit.
Checking your coverage
Call the number on your card and ask what it covers for chiropractic care. If you like, Ada helps you prepare the questions.
What the first visit includes
