Services

Exercises and movement

A few simple exercises, seated or standing with the support of a chair, that the doctor teaches in the office and that you can repeat at home at your own pace.

The exercises go along with the care; they do not replace what your doctor tells you.

What the visit includes

  • We choose two or three exercises together, not a long list

  • We show them and you practice with us

  • We give them to you in writing, in large print

  • You can stop whenever something bothers you

Good to know

  • How long and how often

The exercises are reviewed at each visit. The doctor changes or drops them when you need it; there is no set number.

  • What we do not promise

We do not promise results or that any symptom will go away. Every person responds differently.

  • When to see a doctor first

If you had a recent fall, a fever, or a new and severe pain, see your doctor first. The chiropractor may also ask you to.

  • How it is paid

Medicare covers only manual adjustment of the spine. Other services depend on your plan. We tell you the cost before we start.

Does Medicare cover it?

No. Medicare covers only manual adjustment of the spine. We tell you the cost first.

Talk to us before you decide

Call or write to us. A person answers in Spanish or English and explains the next step.

  • A sudden severe headache or neck pain, dizziness, trouble speaking or seeing, new weakness or numbness, numbness in the groin or saddle area (between the legs and buttocks), or new bladder or bowel trouble needs emergency care now. Call 911 or go to an emergency room.
